Zelle LLP Elects Eric Buetzow and Isabella Stankowski-Booker to Partnership
December 19, 2019Zelle LLP is pleased to announce that Eric Buetzow, of the Firm’s San Francisco office, and Isabella Stankowski-Booker, of the Firm’s New York office, have been elected to the partnership effective January 1, 2020.

Eric Buetzow
Buetzow’s practice focuses on complex litigation, primarily in antitrust, competition, and consumer protection matters. Since joining the firm in 2007, he has assisted in the representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in multidistrict litigation class actions involving claims of anticompetitive conduct, unfair business practices, and products liability. Buetzow has also represented various individual parties on both sides of the aisle in an array of commercial disputes, including cases arising from allegations of trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, price discrimination, and breach of licensing agreements. He was named a Northern California "Rising Star" in 2017 (Antitrust Litigation, Intellectual Property, Class Action/Mass Torts, and Business Litigation) by San Francisco magazine.
Isabella Stankowski-Booker
Stankowski-Booker’s practice focuses on (re)insurance coverage, complex commercial litigation and insurance defense, as well as policy drafting. In the first-party (re)insurance context, she advises on property, energy and engineering matters. In addition, she consults on (re)insurance claims in the entertainment, media and sports industries, where she regularly advises clients on event cancellation/nonappearance, film production, and sports personal accident issues. Before returning to private practice in 2014, Stankowski-Booker worked as in-house counsel in the claims and wording units with one of the world’s largest reinsurance companies, both at their Munich and London offices. In that capacity, she worked closely with underwriters, brokers and outside consultants on complex claims and the drafting of bespoke (re)insurance wordings, providing her with first-hand knowledge of the challenges faced by clients in these key international (re)insurance markets.
