Isabella K. Stankowski-Booker
Isabella Stankowski-Booker’s practice focuses on (re)insurance coverage, complex commercial litigation and insurance defense, as well as policy drafting. In the first-party (re)insurance context, she advises on property, energy and engineering matters. In addition, Isabella consults on (re)insurance claims in the Entertainment, Media and Sports industries, where she regularly advises clients on event cancellation/nonappearance, film production, and sports personal accident issues.
Before returning to private practice in 2014, Isabella worked as In-House Counsel in the claims and wording units with one of the world’s largest reinsurance companies, both at their Munich and London offices. In that capacity, Isabella worked closely with underwriters, brokers and outside consultants on complex claims and the drafting of bespoke (re)insurance wordings, providing her with first-hand knowledge of the challenges faced by clients in these key international (re)insurance markets.
