Kristin Cummings and Christine Renella to Present on Assignment of Benefits at 2020 LEA Annual Educational Conference
January 17, 2020Kristin Cummings, a partner in the Dallas office of Zelle, and Christine Renella, a senior associate in the Miami office of Zelle, will co-present a workshop on “Assignment of Benefits” at the Loss Executives Association’s 2020 Annual Meeting & Educational Conference. The conference will take place January 15-17, 2020 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Many claims in Florida have seen an increase in assignment of benefits. The parameters of the claims, what is assigned, what is an appropriate assignment and who may take an assignment are not always clear. Florida decisions have created some confusion, but also provide insight.
