Zelle Attorneys Play Key Pro Bono Role in Minnesota Supreme Court Decision
November 9, 2022Mackenzie Moy, Laura Bartlow, Dennis Anderson, and Dan Millea, all from Zelle’s Minneapolis, MN office, were instrumental in helping the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy (MCEA) win a significant case before the Minnesota Supreme Court.
The attorneys worked with the MCEA on Limbo Creek, a public waters case, and submitted an amicus brief supporting MCEA on behalf of Sever Peterson (Sever’s Festivals) and the Henderson (MN) Chamber. The Minnesota Supreme Court affirmed the MCEA’s victory at the Court of Appeals and held that Limbo Creek is a protected public water, and any alterations of the creek must undergo environmental review.
