Steven Badger Quoted in SE Texas Record: Lawsuit Brought by Appraiser Eric Ramirez Against Hail Lawyer Eric Dick
May 2, 2019Steven Badger, a partner in the Dallas office of Zelle, was quoted in a SE Texas Record article regarding a lawsuit brought by appraiser Eric Ramirez against hail lawyer Eric Dick.
Alleging theft and fraud, Ramirez and his company, LA Public Insurance Adjusters, filed a breach of contract suit against Dick and his firm on April 30 in Harris County District Court. In his suit, Ramirez says he’s worked with Dick since May 2012, providing the attorney with inspection, estimation, appraisal and expert witness services in hundreds of cases.
The article notes that Badger has handled numerous lawsuits adverse to Dick, including many in which Ramirez acted as an appraiser. Badger, who previously sued Dick on behalf of one of his insurance company clients, says the suit “brings forward” some of the issues his clients are dealing with in mass-volume hail lawsuits.
