Kristin Suga Heres Elected Secretary of the Massachusetts Reinsurance Bar Association
July 15, 2015Kristin Suga Heres, a senior associate in the Boston office of Zelle Hofmann, has been elected secretary of the Massachusetts Reinsurance Bar Association. Her term begins April 30, 2015 and ends in April 2016.
Heres’ practice focuses on the resolution of complex business disputes, including insurance coverage issues, reinsurance matters, and tort and contract claims in the securities context. She has worked on many of the firm’s largest and most challenging cases, including a high-value Hurricane Katrina claim, several 9/11-related coverage matters, and a major securities case involving a prominent U.S. bank. Heres has also represented clients in a number of liability insurance coverage cases, including environmental- and asbestos-related coverage matters. In recent years, she was on the team that obtained successful outcomes in two substantial reinsurance arbitrations.
