The polling, researching, and selecting of Super Lawyers is designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only five percent of Minnesota attorneys receive this honor and approximately five percent of the Northern California Bar received the distinction. The 2011 Northern California and Minnesota Rising Stars list recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the region - those who are forty years old or younger or who have been practicing law for ten years or less.
