Jason Reeves and Darren Thompson to Present LMA Academy Masterclass on Liability Litigation
June 4, 2019On June 4, 2019, Jason Reeves and Darren Thompson of Zelle International will co-present an LMA Academy Masterclass titled “Lessons in Liability Litigation: A Case Study.”
The masterclass will follow an anonymized case study of a litigation from start to finish.
It will considering how best to manage a litigation, highlighting opportunities and pitfalls along the way, with consideration given to:
- cost management
- the insured’s experience
- disclosure
- preparing witness evidence
- choosing the right expert and barrister
- understanding your opponent
- ADR
Attendees will gain a better understanding of the how to manage a liability litigation and will focus on practical management points that insurers and reinsurers need to understand to most efficiently run a claim to settlement.
