Zelle Attorneys to Present at National Association of Catastrophe Adjusters Conference
January 18, 2017Dan Millea and Lindsey Davis, partners in the Minneapolis office of Zelle, will present at the National Association of Catastrophe Adjusters Conference, to be held January 15-19, 2017 in Las Vegas.
On Wednesday, January 18, Millea will present “When Bad Things Happen to Good People: Resolving CBI Coverage Questions Post Catastrophe.” This course will explore catastrophic property damage scenarios, the impact such catastrophes can have on commercial property, the upstream and downstream impacts on insured customers and suppliers, contingent business interruption policy language and limitations, and the coverage questions that are likely to arise. Later that same day, Davis will present on “Avoiding Bad Faith Allegations in the Face of Catastrophe.” This course will examine good faith claim handling practices and effective claim-file management in the context of first party property claims following a natural or man-made catastrophe.
