Tyler L. Murphy
Tyler is a senior associate attorney in Zelle’s Philadelphia office. He represents some of the world’s largest insurance carriers in complex insurance coverage litigation in both state and federal courts. Tyler’s practice focuses on first-party property and casualty claims, as well as third-party general and professional liability matters. Additionally, he focuses his practice on defending clients from bad faith and extra-contractual claims. Tyler has experience representing insurers in all facets of coverage disputes: ranging from drafting pre-suit coverage opinions, to handling coverage lawsuits through all stages of litigation and trial.
Prior to joining Zelle, Tyler was an insurance coverage associate at the Philadelphia office of an AmLaw 100 law firm. He also had the privilege of working as a judicial extern to the Honorable Mark A. Kearney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. While in law school, Tyler served as the Managing Editor of Tolle Lege; the online publication of the Villanova Law Review.
