The Legal 500 U.S. 2021 Ranks Zelle LLP As Tier 1 Antitrust Civil Litigation/Class Actions: Plaintiff Law Firm

June 8, 2021

The Legal 500, considered one of the most comprehensive worldwide qualitative guides available on lawyers and law firms, has announced its 2021 United States rankings. This year, Zelle LLP is again ranked as a Tier 1 Antitrust Civil Litigation/Class Actions: Plaintiff law firm. Zelle was one of only five nationwide ranked in Tier 1.

Zelle Oakland partner Judith Zahid and Washington, DC partner James Robertson Martin, who co-chair the Firm’s antitrust group, were also named among “Leading Lawyers” and Zelle Oakland partner Qianwei Fu was also recognized as a “Next Generation Lawyer.”

The Legal 500 notes “The practice group is often involved in high-stakes multi-jurisdictional litigation, primarily focusing on individual recovery actions on behalf of corporate plaintiffs and class actions on behalf of direct and indirect purchasers. Also in Oakland, Christopher Micheletti has played a leading role in the successful prosecution of several California state antitrust class actions; and Qianwei Fu focuses on the representation of consumers and opt-out claimants in antitrust cartel and monopolization cases, spanning the energy, automotive, transportation, and tech sectors. Washington DC-based Jennifer Duncan Hackett regularly advises clients on issues pertaining to pre-merger notifications, including Hart-Scott-Rodino filings and gun-jumping issues.”

The U.S. edition of The Legal 500 is now in its 14th year and, like the other established editions of the guide, is relied upon by millions of buyers of legal services worldwide when they need to instruct outside counsel. The Legal 500 analyzes the capabilities of law firms across the world, with a comprehensive research program revised and updated every year to bring the most up-to-date vision of the global legal market.
