Katherine A. Jakeway
Katherine Jakeway is an associate in Zelle’s Dallas office. She represents clients in various stages of litigation, with a focus on first-party property insurance claims and coverage disputes. Katherine’s practice includes legal research, coverage analysis, and supporting defense litigation strategies across a range of insurance-related matters.
She is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and is committed to delivering thoughtful and thorough advocacy. Katherine contributes to cases involving breach of contract claims, Texas Insurance Code violations, and appraisal-related disputes.
Prior to joining the firm as an attorney, Katherine was a summer associate at Zelle LLP. While in law school, she served as an Associate Member of the State Bar of Texas for SMU’s Hunter Legal Center for Victims of Crimes Against Women and as the Senior Case Note and Comment Editor for the International Law Review Association.
