Jacarri Walker
Jacarri Walker is an associate in Zelle’s Ft. Lauderdale office, where he focuses his practice on insurance coverage and first-party defense. He represents admitted and surplus lines insurance carriers throughout the state of Florida, providing advice to clients in first-party matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Jacarri served as a senior associate at a large, national insurance defense firm, where he assisted in the development of efficient and proactive legal strategy while litigating cases across Florida. Jacarri also served as an assistant state attorney for the 11th judicial circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, where he prosecuted a wide range of criminal offenses consisting of misdemeanor, juvenile delinquency, and first, second, and third-degree felony offenses.
Jacarri’s background as an insurance defense litigator and former prosecutor allows him to provide targeted advice to clients from an economic and strategic perspective in Florida’s ever-evolving litigation environment. He is a member of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association.
Jacarri obtained his juris doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. In law school, Jacarri served as the president of the NSU Trial Association and a member of Moot Court Society’s general board. Jacarri is a Schlesinger Trial Advocacy Scholarship recipient and a member of the Order of Barristers.
