Samantha M. Gupta

Samantha is an associate in the firm’s Boston, MA office, where her practice is focused on complex commercial and insurance litigation. Additionally, she serves on the firm's eDiscovery team.

Prior to joining Zelle, Samantha was an associate at a New York City-based firm, representing plaintiffs in a variety of civil cases including personal injury, medical malpractice, employment discrimination, and civil rights.

Samantha also practiced for nearly five years as a criminal defense attorney for the Legal Aid Society’s Brooklyn, NY office. In this role, Samantha represented thousands of indigent clients facing a range of charges, from misdemeanors to serious felonies. During this time, she also gained extensive courtroom experience, conducting various suppression hearings, bail hearings, as well as bench and jury trials.

While attending Harvard Law School, Samantha served as a Student Attorney in the School’s Criminal Justice Institute. She also served as a Legal Intern, Prisoners’ Rights Project at the Legal Aid Society, and as a Summer Law Clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office.
