Jason Reeves to Present LMA Academy Master Class on Arbitration in England and in the U.S.
October 3, 2014On October 3, 2014, Jason Reeves, of Zelle Hofmann’s London office, will co-present an LMA Academy master class titled, “Arbitration in England and in the US: A Practical Guide.” Joining Reeves for this presentation will be Andrew Schütte, Partner, Hill Dickinson.
This master class will look at arbitration procedure and practice both in England and in the U.S., including: the reasons for arbitrating; confidentiality; law and jurisdiction; costs; the award; and appeals.
Focusing on the practicalities relating to the seat of arbitration and choice of law, the presentation will look at the key aspects of arbitrations in England and the U.S.
Attendees will be given some 'dos and don'ts' for arbitral proceedings on both sides of the Atlantic.
